You can avoid chaffing by not wearing skirts in summer since when you walk in the heat wearing the you sweat and the sweat causes friction on the skin hence you end up experiencing chaffing.

Chaffing is a treatable condition so you need not to worry when you experience it but it takes a while before you completely heal. Do not use iodine or hydrogen peroxide to clean the wound you got and also rest more and avoid activities which can cause more friction to the wound. Use coconut oil which is recommended because it soothes the rashes you may have got and also it reduces the inflammation in the skin. To avoid getting skin infection it is good for you to let the wounds heal completely and use the right cream to prevent chaffing again. To prevent future chaffing you have to use the recommended anti-chafe creams. Ask your friends the kind of anti-chafe cream they use and where they get them from to know which is best for use.
